Although it is situated just off busy I-35, this property is somewhat peaceful, thanks to its thick grove of giant live oak trees. A small, shady greenway sits in front of the modest property, setting a pleasant tone. Guests can sit on the porch swing outside the motel lobby and gaze at the birdhouses hanging in the trees. This one-story brick building houses about two dozen guest rooms, each with cable TV. Accommodations are basic but offer all the necessities. Exterior corridors are lined with artificial turf, but a porch light outside each turquoise-tinted door gives the motel a homey feeling. Truck parking and weekly rates are available.
