This site is dedicated to the outboard racing history and heritage of Quincy Welding/ Precision Machine of Quincy, Illinois, and it's creator, O. F. Christner. Authorized by Mrs. O. F. Christner and hosted by his sons, Paul, John & David Christner. Paul worked many years at Quincy Welding/ Precision Machine with his father, O. F., and helped design and develop the famous Quincy "Z" race engines & the patented experimental Christner 2 - 4 cycle R&D engine. John assisted his father at Quincy Welding in the 1950's & 60's and was pit crew chief at many races. David was a very successful outboard racer for Quincy Welding in the 1950's & 60's, winning many races & championships, and is also a partner in the experimental Christner 2 - 4 cycle R&D engine.
