Mariam Paré - Visual Artist

Mariam Paré is a visual artist and mouth-painter. She sustained a spinal cord injury (quadriplegia) after surviving an act of gun violence, and creates emotive and symbolic paintings by holding the brushes in her mouth. Paré also makes digital and conceptual art based on facets of the disability experience. She is a 3Arts Fellow. Creator of Tres Fridas Project. Member of the MFPA Worldwide.
