Welcome to the joint website for the ancestral villages of Frank and Kolb, neighboring villages located near the Volga River in Saratov Province, Russia. The purpose of this website is to help facilitate the following mission statement of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (AHSGR): An international organization dedicated to the discovery, collection, preservation, and dissemination of information related to the history, cultural heritage and genealogy of Germanic Settlers in the Russian Empire and their descendants.
