Community Education Council District 3 (CEC3) is one of the 32 CEC in New York City represents public elementary and middle schools in the district. CEC3 responsibilities include: approving school zoning lines, holding hearings on the capital plan, evaluating community superintendents, and providing input on other important policy issues. CEC has 12 members, including ten elected parents and two members appointed by the Borough President, & two students selected by the Superintendent.
