A few years ago I used the free hosting at 3com.science/.
Their free plan was much better than expected. There was even the option to have Wordpress, Joomla or Zacky Site Builder installed on the free site, for no charge whatsoever. It was better than a few paid hosts I've used. In January I joined the 3com.science/ affiliate program. 50% on every hosting and/or domain product you sell. There were no upfront costs, no credit card was asked for, and they have paid promptly every month.
